Travel Grants

National/International Conference

The Wyoming Chapter of The Wildlife Society is pleased to announce that applications are now open for Travel Awards to attend the 2026 TWS Annual Conference in Des Moines, Iowa, November 1–5, 2026!

We are offering three travel grants of $500 each to support WY-TWS members who have limited or no funding available to attend the conference.

Who is eligible?

Applicants must:

• Be a current WY-TWS member at the time of application.

• Be planning to present a talk or poster or attend a workshop at the 2026 TWS Annual Conference.

Important Dates & Information:

• Application deadline: September 25, 2026 at 11:59 PM

• Award notifications: October 5, 2026

• Number of awards: Three

• Award amount: $500 each

• Application: WY-TWS Travel Award Google Form

Please note that applicants are expected to prepare their written responses independently. The use of generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) to compose or substantially revise application materials is not permitted. Tools used for grammar, spelling, or clarity, such as Grammarly or spell check, are acceptable.

Award disbursement: Selected awardees must provide proof of conference registration (a forwarded copy of your registration confirmation email is sufficient) to the WY-TWS Treasurer (treasurerwytws@gmail.com) before receiving the grant.

State Conference

WY-TWS plans to offer $1500 in travel grants (six awards of $250 each) to attend the upcoming annual conference of WY-TWS in spring 2027. Stay tuned for more details.
